Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply, installation, servicing, and warranty of garage doors, automation and roller doors provided by Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd. They outline the rights and obligations of both the company and the customer and form part of any quotation, invoice, or agreement entered into with us.

By accepting a quotation, making payment, or proceeding with the supply or installation of goods or services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing by Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd.
Payment Terms and Quotation Acceptance
A deposit of 50 percent of the quoted total is required before any goods are ordered, manufactured, or scheduled for installation.
All quotations must be reviewed carefully. Any amendments or corrections must be provided in writing prior to payment of the deposit. Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the quotation and confirmation to proceed under these Terms and Conditions.

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
Product Specifications and Variations
Once an order has been placed, all product specifications including colour, profile, finish, texture, and configuration are final and cannot be changed.

Customers acknowledge that colour variations may occur between batches, or existing products due to manufacturing processes, ageing, or environmental exposure. Such variations do not constitute a defect.

Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd reserves the right to carry out reasonable touch-ups or minor repairs to products supplied and installed on site where required.
Delivery and Installation Timeframes
Any delivery or installation dates provided are estimates only and are given as accurately as possible based on supplier lead times, site readiness, and workload at the time of sale.

Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd will not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond its reasonable control, including manufacturing delays, weather conditions, site access issues, or changes requested by the customer.
Site Conditions and Customer Responsibilities
Unless expressly stated in the quotation:
No allowance has been made for the supply or connection of electrical power for automated doors
No allowance has been made for changes to site conditions after measurement, including floor levels, ceiling heights, headroom, or side room alterations

It is the responsibility of the customer or builder to ensure all required fixing points, noggins, and structural supports are installed in accordance with installation specifications prior to the scheduled installation date.
Site Access, Safety, and Preparation
The customer must ensure the installation area is safe, accessible, and free from hazards or obstructions on the day of installation.

Sufficient clear floor space is required:
-
Approximately three-quarters of the garage floor for panel lift doors
-
Approximately half of the garage floor for roller doors
Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd and its representatives are not responsible for cracking, damage, or failure of masonry, concrete, render, or structural surfaces caused during drilling or fixing, provided reasonable care is taken.
Failed Installations and Additional Charges
If installation cannot proceed due to unsafe conditions, restricted access, obstructions, or missing fixing points, the installation will be rescheduled.

In such cases, a non-installation fee of $300 plus GST will apply.
Inspection, Damage Claims, and Maintenance
Any claims relating to damaged panels or goods must be submitted within 7 days of installation.

All garage doors and automation systems must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Failure to maintain the product will void any applicable warranty.

Doors with a smooth surface finish may exhibit visible waviness or distortion, commonly referred to as oil canning. This effect is more noticeable in darker colours and results from the nature of flat metal sheeting. Oil canning does not affect performance and is not regarded as a manufacturing fault or covered under warranty.
Warranties and Manufacturer Guarantees
Goods supplied by Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable.
Warranty documentation is available on request.
Servicing Requirements
To maintain warranty coverage, roller / garage doors must be serviced as follows:

-
Residential use: every 12 months
-
Commercial use: every 6 months
-
High-use or main-entry doors: every 3 to 6 months

More frequent servicing is recommended for high-cycle usage.
Final Payment and Handover
The remaining balance is payable on or before the installation date.

The remaining balance is payable prior to the scheduled installation date. A final invoice will be issued once the door is available for installation, and the installation booking will be confirmed only after full payment has been received.

Upon completion, our technicians will demonstrate the operation of the door and any automation systems.
Remote controls and access devices will then be issued, and their receipt constitutes the customer’s acknowledgment that the door has been installed correctly and is operating to their satisfaction.
Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd until payment has been received in full and cleared.
Prior to this, the company retains the right to remove the goods if required.
Debt Recovery and Interest
The customer is responsible for all reasonable costs incurred by Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd in recovering overdue payments, including legal and debt collection costs.

Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd reserves the right to apply reasonable late payment charges to amounts outstanding beyond the due date, reflecting the administrative and financing costs incurred by the company.
Consumer Law and Remedies (NSW)
Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and as applied in New South Wales.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

Where goods or services supplied by Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd fail to comply with a consumer guarantee, the customer is entitled to the remedies provided under the ACL. Depending on the nature of the failure, this may include repair, replacement, or refund, at the discretion of Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd where permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by the ACL, Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd’s liability for a failure that does not amount to a major failure is limited, at its option, to:
-
the repair of the goods or services;
-
the replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods; or
-
the payment of the cost of repairing or replacing the goods or services.

Any refund provided will be limited to the value of the original invoice and will constitute full and final settlement of the claim to the extent permitted by law. Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of use, loss of profits, or delay costs, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the ACL.

In some circumstances, and where lawful, Sydney Roller Doors Pty Ltd may offer a price adjustment or partial refund in lieu of rectification. Any such arrangement must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
